Happy new year all !

I was wondering if anybody could help me. I am creating a web app and would like users to be able to fill a field from the first column of a view. This works well in Notes as a dialog box and is displayed showing the full view with all it's columns. I'd really like to implement this kind of option for the web.

I have used a dialog list field with the 'Use view dialog for choices' option. In the web browser it just shows as a brief, empty list.

It looks like this method will not work for the web, in the same way as @picklist does not either.

Can anybody help me implement something similar - is Javascript another way forward?

Any help would be very much appreciated,
